Gandhi and Shastri Were True National Heroes: Kripashankar Singh

Jaunpur: Former Minister of State for Home (Maharashtra) Kripashankar Singh extended Vijaya Dashami greetings to BJP workers, women’s groups, journalists, and eminent citizens at his Jaunpur office on Wednesday by offering khadi angavastra and sweets.
Earlier in the day, Singh performed darshan and pujan in Varanasi before reaching his home district, where he paid floral tributes at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at Gandhi Park, Kharka Tiraha. On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti and the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri, he described both leaders as the “true national heroes of India.”
Singh said, “By following the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri, India can achieve the status of Vishwaguru. The youth, in particular, must draw inspiration from their personality and contributions.”
He also congratulated the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on the commencement of its centenary year, underlining its importance in nation-building.
Expressing grief over the demise of Padma Vibhushan awardee and eminent classical vocalist Pandit Chhannulal Mishra, Singh called it an “irreparable loss for the country.”
He further praised the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, stating that under their guidance the nation and the state are moving forward on the path of development.
